Jinju Hosts ‘K-Entrepreneurship Awards,’ Honoring Spirit of Korea’s Top Four Founders

The Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Foundation held the “Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Youth Forum” on the 10th at Gyeongsang National University’s Centennial Hall, where it presented the “Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Awards,” named after the honorific pen names of the founders of Samsung, LG, GS, and Hyosung.

The ceremony was attended by more than 450 participants, including executives from major conglomerates, CEOs of small and medium-sized enterprises, aspiring entrepreneurs, startup founders, young business leaders, and university students. The event served as an opportunity to reflect on the core corporate values embodied by the founders of Korea’s four leading business groups.

The “Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Awards” consist of four categories named after the founders’ honorifics—Hoam Innovation Award, Yeonam Reform Award, Hyoju Creativity Award, and Manwoo Challenge Award—symbolizing innovation, reform, creativity, and challenge, values that today’s youth are encouraged to pursue.

Winners were selected in two divisions—Startup and Pre-Startup—with a total of eight teams recognized.

In the Startup Division,• Aslon received the Hoam Innovation Award• BizCure won the Yeonam Reform Award• Livotics received the Hyoju Creativity Award• KKUN Co., Ltd. won the Manwoo Challenge Award

Each winning team was awarded prize money of 10 million won.

In the Pre-Startup Division,• Aristo received the Hoam Innovation Award• Care Station won the Yeonam Reform Award• Good Vibration received the Hyoju Creativity Award• ESG Fashion Tech won the Manwoo Challenge Award

Each team was awarded 5 million won.

Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Foundation Chairman Kim Jong-wook stated,“We hope that the K-Entrepreneurship Competition will serve as a catalyst for Jinju to grow into a global entrepreneurship hub where young people from around the world learn K-entrepreneurship and take on new challenges.
