Aslon is a medical artificial intelligence company established in April 2025 that is commercializing early screening technology for cardiovascular diseases that can be utilized in existing electrocardiogram (ECG) testing environments. Centered on software that predicts the risk of coronary artery stenosis and myocardial ischemia, the company is focusing on improving accessibility to cardiovascular disease diagnosis and the efficiency of medical resource utilization.

The flagship product on display is 'ArslonHeart-CAD,' an AI-based software for the early screening of coronary artery disease. This product is a medical artificial intelligence solution that utilizes standard 12-lead electrocardiogram data to predict the risk of coronary artery stenosis and myocardial ischemia, and provides information related to eFFR, an electrocardiogram-based vascular function assessment indicator.

In particular, 'ArslonHeart-CAD' is characterized by its focus on predicting the degree of coronary artery stenosis and the risk of functional ischemia, unlike existing ECG-based AI which has concentrated on diagnosing acute myocardial infarction or acute coronary syndrome. It supports the screening of high-risk groups by analyzing structural associations between blood vessels using graph neural network-based technology.

In addition, since this solution utilizes existing 12-lead electrocardiogram data, it has the potential to be applied to screening tests without the need for separate CT scans or catheter insertion. By utilizing the existing examination environment without additional radiation exposure or contrast agent administration, the goal is to identify patients requiring precise examinations and to help with the efficient utilization of medical resources.

In addition, Aslon has completed exploratory clinical trials in Korea and is currently conducting confirmatory clinical trials at Seoul National University Hospital and Inje University Ilsan Paik Hospital. It is pursuing joint research with Seoul National University Hospital on AI-based coronary artery stenosis and myocardial ischemia prediction technology, and presented related research results at CVIT 2026 and IPOP 2026.

Aslon plans to focus on identifying overseas medical institutions, digital healthcare distributors, and buyers at the Reha·Homecare 2026 Digital Healthcare Export Consultation. The main purpose of the participation is to identify market entry requirements and licensing procedures by country, and to secure opportunities for product demonstrations, validation, and joint research targeting local hospitals.

"A company official stated, 'We are currently preparing to enter global markets, focusing on the United States and Southeast Asia. In the U.S., we are discussing joint research and clinical collaboration with WVU Medicine through the Boston CIC Global Expansion Program and related programs in West Virginia. In Vietnam, we are also exploring the identification of local buyers, product demonstrations for hospitals, and potential for business cooperation.'"

"He added, 'Participating in the Biohealthcare Industry Exhibition is significant in that it provides an opportunity to expand the foundation for 'ArslonHeart-CAD' to enter overseas markets and continue follow-up discussions with local medical institutions and distribution partners. While pursuing the completion of domestic confirmatory clinical trials, medical device regulatory approval, and product commercialization, we plan to prioritize the U.S. and Vietnam as markets and expand into the Middle East and Europe.'"

Meanwhile, the 'Biohealthcare Industry Exhibition,' jointly organized by the Korea Bio-Specialized Center Council and WEEXPO, is an exhibition that brings together a diverse range of biohealthcare products and technologies based on biotechnology, including health functional foods, cosmetics, medical devices, and digital healthcare. It exhibits and introduces the products and technologies of outstanding bio-companies discovered through related support programs, and aims to expand sales channels and revitalize the biohealthcare industry through business matching and industrial exchange.
