[Seoul Economic TV = Reporter Park Soo-yeol] Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company Arslon announced on the 24th that it has signed a joint research and development agreement with Seoul National University Hospital to develop core technologies for 'ArslonHeart-CAD,' an AI-based diagnostic assistance software for cardiovascular diseases.

The main objective of this study is to develop an artificial intelligence model that predicts fractional flow reserve (FFR) values, which indicate the severity of coronary artery stenosis, using patients' electrocardiogram (ECG) data.

The developed algorithm is scheduled to be integrated into Arslon’s next-generation solution, 'ArslonHeart-CAD'. This software aims to be an artificial intelligence medical device that supports optimized decision-making by medical professionals by suggesting the appropriate course of action between drug therapy and invasive treatment for patients with stable angina.

Nam Ki-doo, CEO of Aslon, stated, “Collaboration with Seoul National University Hospital, whose clinical capabilities have been verified, has enabled us to enhance the technical completeness of our solution,” adding, “We will continue to pursue innovation that reduces the physical burden on patients and increases medical efficiency through non-invasive precision diagnosis.”
